Location
The Compass Centre is conveniently
located midway between I-35 & I-45 near the "Heart of Texas" in a small peaceful
community appropriately named Mt. Calm, and is easily accessible from all points
in Texas.

From Dallas/Fort Worth:
Take I-35 South to Hillsboro. Take Exit 368A, for Hwy 171. Go to the light
and turn left (East) & stay on Hwy 171 to Hubbard - approximately 21 miles.
At the signal light – turn Right (West) at the light – that is Hwy 31.
You will go approximately 8 1/2 miles to the flashing light in Mount
Calm. You will turn RIGHT (North) onto FM 339 NORTH. After making the
right turn, you will see a stop sign. After stopping at the stop sign,
proceed straight getting ready to turn right almost immediately – it is
marked FM 339. Follow that new road and it will curve you into the “old” FM
339 in approximately ½ mile. The road will automatically curve you to the
left in the direction of The Compass Centre. Things should start to look
familiar at this point. Follow FM 339 for approximately 1 mile to the
sweeping curve. The Centre will be on your right after the sweeping curve.
From Austin/San Antonio:
Take I-35 North to Waco/Bellmead Take Exit 338A toward US-84/Waco Dr/TX-31/Bellmead.
Turn Right onto E. Waco Dr/US-84E and continue to follow US-84 E. Make a
slight Left onto TX-31 E and go appx 12 miles to FM 339 North. You will
go to the flashing light in Mt. Calm and turn LEFT (north) onto FM 339
NORTH. After making the right turn, you will see a stop sign. After
stopping at the stop sign, proceed straight getting ready to turn right
almost immediately – it is marked FM 339. Follow that new road and it will
curve you into the “old” FM 339 in approximately ½ mile. The road will
automatically curve you to the left in the direction of The Compass Centre.
Things should start to look familiar at this point. Follow FM 339 for
approximately 1 mile to the sweeping curve. The Centre will be on your
right after the sweeping curve.
From Houston via
I-45:
Take I-45 North to Exit 231 – TX-31 toward
Waco. Keep Right at the fork to go on E. TX-31 W – you will go a little over 35
miles. When you go thru Hubbard, we are another 8 1/2 miles down Hwy 31.
You will go approximately 8 1/2 miles to the flashing light in Mount
Calm. You will turn RIGHT (North) onto FM 339 NORTH. After making the right

There are several ways to get to Mt. Calm from
Houston – you may want to check your GPS or one of the mapping programs on your
computer. The main thing is if you go thru Mexia – do not stay on Hwy 84 to FM
339, as you will wind around forever on a two lane road – you will want to take
Hwy 171 thru Hubbard to Hwy 31. |
